Ulster Weavers UK Oven Mitt / Gauntlet, Mutley Crew

I wanted to create a dog design where the dogs had lots of character  and looked like doodles. I didn't want to concentrate too much on  different breeds instead creating a Mutley crew of characters. I started  the design by making smudgy marks on paper with paint and different  shaped brushes. I then worked into the shapes with ink creating quirky  dog faces which I later made into an all over print.  Material : 100% Cotton outer; Polyester wadding; silicone face Dimensions : 2 x 20 x 37 cms
